About the event
Six wines from indigenous Georgian grape varieties. Tasting set includes amber wine vinified in a traditional Georgian method—in qvevri
Mtsvane — dry white, paired with fried Suluguni cheese
Tsinandali — dry white oaked, paired with 3 types of Pkhali
Saperavi — dry red aged 1 year in oak barrels, paired with Khachapuri Penovani
Mukuzani — dry red aged 3 years in oak barrels, paired with Khinkali
Kisi — dry orange qvevri, paired with Chkmeruli chicken
Khvanchkara — semi-sweet red, paired with Churchkhela
Some of you will find it difficult figuring out what these Georgian dishes are—another reason to come and taste them!
Stories about Georgian wine and beautiful Georgian music (recorded) will be there for you.
